A women’s health clinic on Riverside Drive in Upper Arlington offers 45-minute initial physician consultations for $359 through a private-pay model that does not bill insurance for consultations.
Alluvita Health and Wellness, founded by Jessica Gesue, provides hormonal, reproductive and preventive care, along with nutrition counseling, at 3220 Riverside Drive, Suite B-1, according to the Tri-Village Chamber Partnership's Business Inspires podcast.
Gesue, whose background includes business leadership and 11 years as a stay-at-home mother, said on the podcast that she built the practice after 11 years as a stay-at-home mom. She described gaps she experienced firsthand in women's health care.
The concept grew out of pandemic-era garage workouts with friends. Gesue, a former competitive bodybuilder, said she began training women in her garage during COVID and realized the social wellness idea from those small-group sessions. She said she kept referring women to providers scattered across the city and decided to bring physicians, a mental health therapist and a nutritional counselor under one roof.
The clinic's team includes Dr. Sara Bazán, a board-certified gynecologist with more than 20 years of experience in perimenopause and menopause care, and Dr. Mia Duncan, a board-certified physician specializing in women's health. Julie Hiller, a registered nurse with more than 16 years of clinical experience, serves as nutrition and wellness specialist.
An initial comprehensive women's health evaluation costs $359 for a 45-minute visit, either in person or virtual, according to the clinic's pricing page. Follow-up visits with an exam run $299. Follow-ups without an exam cost $229. A first nutrition consultation is $179 for 60 minutes. Prices increase Jan. 1, 2027.
The practice does not accept insurance directly but notes that patients can use HSA or FSA funds. Prescribed medications go through a patient's pharmacy, where insurance may apply. Gesue said on the podcast that the clinic is not meant to replace a primary care physician or OB-GYN but instead addresses issues like cycle irregularity and hormonal symptoms that patients feel are not fully addressed elsewhere.
The clinic serves women ages 18 to 64 and offers virtual visits to all Ohio residents. Gesue is also opening Alluvita Social Wellness Club, a membership-based wellness space at 5721 N. High St. in Worthington, planned for January 2027.
Appointments are available through the clinic's website.
