Grandview Heights voters in precincts E and F will cast ballots at a new location on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

The Franklin County Board of Elections is moving those precincts from Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary School to Wyman Woods Park at 1520 Goodale Blvd., according to a notice the board released Oct. 15. Voters affected by the change should be receiving mailed notifications identifying their new assigned location and address.

The shift is one of more than a dozen polling location changes across Franklin County ahead of the General Election. Countywide, 54,645 registered voters are getting notices that their assigned site has moved. The county will operate 298 polling locations on Election Day.

Franklin County Board of Elections Director Antone White urged voters to check their polling location before Election Day, even if they have voted at the same place for years. He said voters should review their mailed notification or check their voter record online to confirm where to go.

Don't assume your old site is still active.

The board said it will place signs at former polling locations directing voters to their new site, including the name and address. The full list of countywide changes is available in the board's Oct. 15 release.

How to verify your polling location

Voters can confirm their assigned location using the My Registration tool on the Franklin County Board of Elections website or by calling the board at 614-525-3100.

Early voting and absentee deadlines

Early in-person voting is available at the Board of Elections, 1700 Morse Road in Columbus, through Sunday, Nov. 1. As of Wednesday, Oct. 14, a total of 22,436 Franklin County voters had cast ballots at the early voter center.

Applications for absentee ballots to be mailed must reach the board by 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27. Absentee ballots must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, whether returned by mail or in person. A postmark alone does not meet the deadline. A drive-up ballot drop-off tent is available during normal business hours.

Polls open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 3.
