Nine different Grandview Heights players scored as the Bobcats girls soccer team beat Franklin Heights 11-0 in a Central Buckeye League (CBL) home game Aug. 26.
The varsity-only match at Bobcat Stadium was over early in all but name. Grandview Heights peppered the Franklin Heights goal all evening, forcing the Falcons' goalkeeper into 11 saves.
Libby Otto led the attack with two goals. Kara Reardon contributed a goal and a team-high two assists, directly involved in three of the team's 11 scores.
Emma Moyo, Lilly Fisher, Brynn Duling, Angelina Aquilo, Nola Herman, Harper Green and Reese Brown each added a goal apiece.
The assists were spread nearly as wide as the scoring. Moyo, Fisher, Kenzie Gladman, Herman, Hadley Gaston and Green each recorded one assist alongside Reardon's two.
Defensively, the Bobcats were just as stifling. Goalkeeper Kenzie Gladman recorded zero saves during her time in goal. Elizabeth Bills made one save to complete the combined shutout.
The lopsided result marked Grandview Heights' second CBL home game this season, according to the Grandview Heights Athletic Department.
Grandview Heights returns to Bobcat Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 2, when the Bobcats host Buckeye Valley at 7:15 p.m. for Youth Night.
