Two Roasting Joes Coffee, a small-batch roaster based in Chillicothe, is back at the Upper Arlington Farmers Market for a seventh consecutive year, the City of Upper Arlington announced on X on Aug. 11.

The city spotlighted the roaster as its featured vendor for the week. Two Roasting Joes operates from 659 N. High St. in Chillicothe, about 50 miles south of Upper Arlington, and sources beans from farms around the world. The company roasts only after an order is placed, according to its website.

The Wednesday market runs 3–6 p.m. at 2151 Dorset Road, between the Tremont Center and St. Mark's Episcopal Church, rain or shine through Oct. 21. More than 60 vendors sell fresh produce, artisan bread, pasta, pastured meats, coffee, baked goods, honey, jams and flowers.

Shoppers pay nothing to browse. SNAP customers who use their Ohio Direction card receive $1 in Produce Perks for every $1 spent, up to $25 each market day. WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits are also accepted.

The market is a collaboration between Common Greens Ohio, the City of Upper Arlington and Littleton's Market. Each Wednesday also features live music and a rotating community booth.

Thursday, Aug. 20: Upper Arlington Farmers Market, 3–6 p.m., Dorset Road.

Saturday, Aug. 29: Cycle UA, a family-friendly bike ride with 5-, 10- and 15-mile routes, 9:30 a.m. to noon at Northam Park, 2070 Northam Road. New this year: a pancake breakfast at the finish line for Saturday group riders. Pre-registration required.

Monday, Sept. 7: Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Northam Park, 2850 Tremont Road. Free admission. The festival has run since 1966 and draws more than 15,000 visitors each year, featuring about 120 juried artists.
