Four parking lots at Fancyburg Park and Thompson Park will close on a rolling basis Aug. 10 through Aug. 14, while the city patches asphalt, repairs cracks, sealcoats and restripes the pavement.
Each lot will shut down for roughly 24 hours as crews complete the work and the surface cures. The city has not published which lot closes on which day.
At Fancyburg Park, the west lot off Sunset Drive is the only closure. The city's notice does not list an alternative parking option for Fancyburg visitors.
Thompson Park, at 4250 Woodbridge Road, has three lots affected: the lot off McCoy Road, the lot off Woodbridge Road and the lot near Gavin Lane and Mountview Road. The parking lot at the north end of Mountview Road will stay open throughout the week, and on-street parking will also be available.
The City of Upper Arlington posted the notice Aug. 7, advising visitors to follow posted signs and plan ahead.
All work is expected to wrap up by Aug. 14.
