Grandview Heights Athletics added The Armory as its newest corporate partner on Aug. 26, the fourth local business deal the Bobcats athletic department has struck since May.

The announcement on X called The Armory "a new corporate partner of the Bobcats" and pointed families to a dedicated partnership page on the facility's website.

The Armory, located at 880 Kinnear Road in Columbus, offers sports performance training, physical therapy, nutrition counseling and recovery services. Its partnership page bills the facility as a one-stop shop for Bobcat athletes to train, recover and compete. The gym is staffed around the clock and includes an indoor basketball and volleyball court.

Shawn and Meredith Bailey founded The Armory to bridge medicine and physical fitness. Shawn Bailey earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University in 2001 and completed his internal medicine residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

The partnership is the latest in a string of corporate deals athletic director Logan Dunn has assembled since taking the role in summer 2025. Buffalo Wild Wings was announced in May, Figlio Grandview became the program's exclusive Italian restaurant partner in June, and Hugh White Honda joined as the exclusive automotive dealership partner in July.

Dunn, who succeeded retired athletic director Brad Bertani, told CityScene Columbus in March that building local business relationships was central to his vision for the department.

"My long-term goal is to set the standard of what an athletic department looks like, not just a division six athletic department … So, if you compare us … to any division one school, division seven school, I want them to say that Grandview Heights set the standard, from game days to how we run our website, social media, how we highlight student athletes, the entire experience," Dunn said in the March profile.

Unlike the Figlio and Hugh White Honda deals, the Aug. 26 announcement did not give The Armory an exclusive category designation. Terms of the partnership, including any financial details or specific benefits for Bobcat athletes, were not disclosed.
