Upper Arlington will close Tremont Road and parts of several surrounding streets all day Sept. 7 for the city's 60th Labor Day Arts Festival.
The closures and no-parking restrictions run from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., according to a city notice posted Sept. 3. The festival itself runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Northam Park, 2850 Tremont Road. It runs rain or shine.
The event draws more than 15,000 visitors each year and features around 120 juried artists, according to the city's festival page. It started in 1966 with 12 artists on the grass near the library in Miller Park.

- Wilshire Drive south side only, between Tremont Road and Henthorn Road
- Henthorn Road fire hydrant side only, between Northam Road and Wilshire Drive
Getting there
A free shuttle will run from Wellington School, 3650 Reed Road, roughly every 15 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Accessible parking is available at Tremont Center off Redding Road.
Ride-share drop-offs are at the intersections of Tremont and Northam or Tremont and Ridgeview. COTA Bus Line 3 stops at Northwest Boulevard and Northam Road, about a 10-minute walk from the festival. A free bike valet will be set up near Tremont Elementary.
The Tremont Library will be closed Sept. 6 and Sept. 7. The drive-up book drop will not be available either day.
What's at the festival
The main stage lineup starts at 11 a.m. with Chaz and Nicki with Hangtime, followed by Blue Spectrum at 12:30 p.m., Donna Mogavero & The Spirit Lifters at 2 p.m. and Long Play at 3:30 p.m. Street performers include the UA Marching Band and Amazing Giants Stilt Walkers.
An Art Activities Area offers hands-on projects for all ages, including face painting, Lego block printmaking, community weaving and a toddler music tent for children ages 6 months to 5 years.
Upper Arlington police officers staff the festival each year. After the 2025 event, the Upper Arlington Police Division called the festival a great city tradition on X.
Residents who live on affected streets should move vehicles before 6 a.m. Monday.
