Teachers, parents and community members in Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff have until Nov. 6 to apply for grants from the Grandview Heights Marble Cliff Education Foundation.

The foundation, which has awarded more than $1.4 million since 1991, funds projects that create learning opportunities and bring schools, families and local organizations together, according to the foundation's grants page. It accepts proposals each fall.

The foundation is looking for new ideas that reach a broad audience and span academics, the arts, humanities, technology or lifelong learning, according to a Grandview Heights City Schools announcement.

Projects less likely to receive funding include building and construction work, consumable supplies, athletics, travel or scholarships for one or a small number of students, and items already covered by operating budgets.

Applicants must secure approval from a school district leader or organization leader before submitting. The online application is available on the foundation's grants page.

Grant decisions are expected by January 2027.
