Upper Arlington's 6-2 football team hosts Dublin Coffman at Marv Moorehead Stadium on Friday, Oct. 16, for Senior Night with OCC-Central positioning at stake.

The Golden Bears (2-1 in conference) are coming off a 20-18 win at Olentangy Orange on Oct. 9, a game decided by a late field goal. Head coach Justin Buttermore's squad has won three of its last four. The lone conference loss came Oct. 2, a 13-12 defeat to Olentangy Liberty at home.

Liberty sits atop the OCC-Central at 3-0 in conference play, according to Columbus Dispatch scores. A UA win Friday would keep the Bears in the division's second spot heading into the regular-season finale Friday, Oct. 23, at Hilliard Davidson.

Dublin Coffman (2-6, 1-2 OCC-Central) snapped a six-game losing streak with a 20-14 win over Hilliard Davidson on Oct. 9, according to MaxPreps. The Shamrocks carry one of the youngest rosters in central Ohio. ABC6 reported that Coffman has just 11 seniors, with 92% of its players expected to return next season.

"I'm really happy with the progress we're making. It's not showing up in the win-loss column, but we are getting better," Coffman head coach Nick McVay told ABC6 ahead of the Oct. 9 game against Davidson.

UA uses Reign St. Clair and Charlie Hunt at quarterback, with Hunt also contributing as a runner and receiver. In the Bears' Week 6 win at Hilliard Bradley, St. Clair connected with Hunt on a 32-yard pass to set up Hunt's 4-yard touchdown run in a 24-7 victory. Running back Drew Theado has also been a factor, rushing for 92 yards on 18 carries in the Week 4 loss to New Albany.

Junior quarterback Jack Morris leads Coffman's passing attack, according to MaxPreps.

The OHSAA regular season wraps up Oct. 24, with playoffs beginning Oct. 30, according to the Columbus Dispatch. The state finals are Dec. 3-5 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.

At 6-2, UA holds the No. 254 spot in the High School Football America 300 national rankings.
