Grandview Avenue transforms into a half-mile pedestrian market Saturday, Sept. 26, when the Grandview Hop returns for the final time this season.
The open-street night market runs from 5 to 9 p.m. between West First Avenue and West Fifth Avenue. Organized by the Columbus Young Professionals Club in partnership with the City of Grandview Heights, the Hop features more than 200 Ohio artisans, food trucks and pop-up shops alongside 50 brick-and-mortar boutiques, bars and restaurants that line the avenue, according to the event's website.
Admission is free.
The event is open to all ages, including leashed pets. Live music, kids' activities and local art round out the vendor market. Specific performer and vendor lineups for Sept. 26 had not been announced as of Sept. 22.
Organizers estimate each Hop draws 5,000 to 7,000 people to Grandview Avenue, according to the event's Instagram page. Saturday's edition caps a four-event 2026 season that began June 27 and continued on the last Saturday of each summer month.
Road closures
Grandview Avenue between First Avenue and Third Avenue will close at 1 p.m. Saturday and remain shut until after the event ends at 9 p.m., according to a city traffic advisory. The Hop stretches along Grandview Avenue up to Fifth Avenue.
