Larson Middle School is recognizing staff alongside students for the first time in its Bobcat of the Month program, naming three employees and 10 students as September honorees.
The awards recognize what the Grandview Heights school calls "The Bobcat Way," conduct that is safe, responsible and respectful. Honorees and their families were treated to a celebratory breakfast, according to Grandview Heights Schools. Principal Matt Wion and Assistant Principal Anthony Paletta were photographed with the recipients.
The student honorees by grade:
- Grade 4: Rian Shinde and Felix Hookway
- Grade 5: Gus Mehling and Elsie Rodgers
- Grade 6: Darcy Ball and Ethan Caravajal
- Grade 7: Lily Monson and Logan Staff
- Grade 8: Molly Clements and Griffin Tipple
Staff Bobcats of the Month are nominated by both colleagues and students. The September staff honorees are Mrs. Burton, Ms. Maple and Ms. Palmer.
