Upper Arlington Girls Basketball will hold its first preseason youth clinic Saturday, Sept. 26, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Upper Arlington High School Field House.

A second clinic follows Saturday, Oct. 3, at the same time and location. The program announced the two-session series on X on Sept. 4, billing them as preseason youth clinics designed to help young players build skills ahead of the winter season. A reminder post went out Sept. 20.

Registration is open through a Google Form linked from the program's X account, @uagirlsbasketb1. The form is titled "UA Girls Basketball 2026 Fall Clinic(s)," suggesting the program may add dates beyond the two already scheduled. Specific age ranges, skill-level requirements and cost were not listed in either announcement.

The clinics arrive after a strong stretch for the Golden Bears. Upper Arlington finished the 2024-25 season 22-3, falling to Springboro 32-45 in the OHSAA regional semifinal. Head coach Jared Dombrowski was then nominated for Ohio's girls high school Coach of the Year for the 2025-26 season in a Columbus Dispatch Preps reader poll in July.

Looking ahead to 2026-27, the OHSAA announced new divisional breakdowns for winter sports tournaments on June 30, the first year of a new two-year enrollment cycle. Girls basketball goes through the OHSAA's competitive balance process, which could shift the Golden Bears' tournament path.

Families interested in signing up can find the registration link on the Upper Arlington Girls Basketball account on X. The second clinic is set for Oct. 3 at the Field House.
