Drivers heading to the Upper Arlington Municipal Services Center on Aug. 10 will need to find alternate parking during a three-hour window while crews deliver a new building generator.
The roadway along the south side of the building at 3600 Tremont Road, near the Police Division, will be closed from approximately 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to a city notice posted Aug. 5. That section connects the visitor parking lot off Tremont Road with the employee parking lot on the east side of the building off Kenny Road.
The Food Waste Drop-Off Program location on the south side of the building will also be inaccessible during that window. Residents who typically use the drop-off should plan to visit before 10 a.m. or after 1 p.m.
The city's notice did not mention alternative parking for visitors during the closure. No follow-up closures have been announced.
